Just after the sale in 1964 of the Mt Vernon plant, Selmer/Bach continued to make trumpets in Mt Vernon before moving everything to Elkhart in 1965. This model 43 is a very nice trumpet. The bell bead is flat like the French Beads. A [...] Bach Stradivarius 37 ML Mt Vernon SN# 19366 Built in 1959/60 this is what the Bach Mt Vernon trumpets are all about. This one seems to be all original except for the 1st slide finger ring which I find very usual. The lacquer is about 80%. Just some tiny miniscule dings in the bell. Nothing serious as far as cosmetics. The 3rd slide has a flat small spot from being dropped a few times. I’ll find [...] Bach Stradivarius SN# 2524 New York The shop card says it was manufactured December 21st 1934. It has a E type valve setup. Shop card says that it was an Exceptionally tight fit.
